Henna by hand, since Rajasthan

I taught myself to draw with mehndi firstly on myself, my Amma, my sisters, and friends. Over the years I added to my repertoire and turned it into a professional qualification as an Herbal Beauty Therapist.

In 1995, when I relocated to Melbourne, I started my Beauty Parlour and became the first salon in Melbourne offering facial threading and henna workshops for women and men of all ages. The henna I use is natural — a dye and conditioner, not a chemical.
